Today I will be talking about motivation because I feel like that’s something people need in their lives me being on of them.
Every human has a goal in their life. It doesn’t matter who you are , how big or small that goal is. You have a goal and you want to reach something. You may say that you want to reach that goal so badly. We all tell ourselves that we really want it. But do you really want it?
The reality is if your not working hard enough for your goals. If your not putting enough effort in making your dreams come true and not working every single day to get to that goal your are not working hard enough!
Your gonna make a hundred excuses like oh I will do that later, I’m tired etc. And then later you will complain about it how you don’t have what you want. And that’s completely your own fault. You can’t blame any other thing. If your not working for your dream no one else is gonna work for you.
I was going to write a long post but then I thought ” hey I will just interview myself” so here is my hijab story.
1. When did you start to wear hijab?
When I was 9 years old, for some of you out there it might seem young but it was completely my own choice to wear it.
2. What made you wear it?
I was mostly surrounded by woman wearing the hijab. And after I’ve learned why muslim woman and girls wear the hijab I decided to join the group.
3. How did your family take it when you started wearing hijab?
They where proud of me also because it was completely my own choice to wear it.
4. Since wearing hijab did you notice any changes in the way people saw you. I think every girl who wears the hijab will know the feeling of getting weird looks from some people.
5. Did you go through any difficulty/problems when wearing your hijab? No I didn’t really go trough any difficulty or problems.
6. What have you gained from wearing the hijab? Self respect and confidence.
7. Anything else you would like to say?
For anyone thinking about wearing hijab do your research, I think that’s a very important thing and know why you want to wear it.
Back to school soon.. Oh wait I’m starting college! I recently moved to the United kingdom, so starting college in a new country is a whole new experience.
With college starting soon I was reflecting on how much I’ve learned since I started secondary school. There are so many things I wish I’d known from the beginning. And some of them took me much longer than they should have to figure out.
I decided the best thing I could do with this knowledge was to share it, especially if it meant that it could help someone else. I don’t pretend to have all the answers and much of this advice might seem obvious, but you never know it could actually help someone.
Start right away. Do you see all that homework growing after the first week? Yeah, that’s only going to get worse with time.
Make the most of your time. I probably accomplished more in the weekends than any other time. Being strategic about when you completed your school obligations, you don’t have to miss out on the other stuff you wanted to do.
Don’t isolate yourself. For shy people like myself, it’s too easy to let intimidation scare you away from social situations. If this is the case, please try to get out of your comfort zone every once in a while. I can’t think of a time I made myself get out there and truly regretted it.
Good luck for people that are starting school soon🌸!
